Why it exists
A training company needed one platform for live batches, self-paced courses and corporate plans, with the right view for each kind of user.
What it does
- Built and deployed a MERN + Next.js corporate training platform, now used by 500+ people.
- Database optimisation made responses 30% faster and doubled concurrent capacity.
- REST APIs in Node.js, Express and MongoDB with an MVC structure, deployed on AWS EC2 and S3.
What it won’t do
- A signed token carries each user’s role, and every dashboard only loads what that role may see: learners their own courses, managers their team, admins the platform.
How it works
A Next.js front end over an Express API and MongoDB, with JWT sign-in and role-based dashboards for learners, managers and admins.
My courses
Learners only see their own courses and progress.
Team progress · 12 learners
Managers see their team, not the whole company.
